All items are offered for sale subject to availability. These terms and conditions were last updated on 08/06/2010. Use of our website and the sale and purchase of goods from the website are governed by our terms and conditions as set out below. 'We' or 'Our' means Campers-Universe.com. 'You' or 'your' means the person accessing, using or ordering from our website over the Internet.
Privacy Policy
- We only store the minimum amount of information needed to ensure the delivery of orders and to be able to contact customers should there be any problems with an order. This is simply customer name, delivery address, an email address and customers may optionally supply a telephone number.
- We do not sell, hire or rent any information to third parties.
- We do not store credit card numbers or any of your financial information. However, customers using PayPal as their payment option may have their credit card details stored by PayPal.
- Customers may be contacted occasionally with details of promotions or special offers, but may opt out of this at any time.
Prices, Description and Availability of Goods
Prices are subject to change without notice and all goods are sold subject to availability. Where goods are temporarily out of stock we will attempt to contact you within 7 days so that you may choose between a refund on the item, having it shipped when it is back in stock or selecting an alternative product. Whilst we take the utmost care to ensure the product descriptions, pictures, information and prices are accurate we do not accept liability for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions. Colours may vary slightly from those shown on the website due to the limitations of Internet technology. Orders are accepted at our sole discretion and we maintain the right to decline orders without giving an explanation.
Delivery
Delivery charges are shown at the checkout once the destination of the parcel is known (once you have entered your delivery address). Standard delivery is free to destinations in the UK mainland for all orders over £150.00
- Standard delivery for items weighing up to 1kg is by second class recorded delivery which usually takes up to 2 or 3 days. Where available customers are given the option to upgrade to 1st class recorded delivery at the checkout. The Post Office attempt to deliver all first class mail on the day after it is posted, but this is not guaranteed and may take slightly longer.
- Items weighing more than 1kg are sent via DHL and their standard delivery takes 2-3 days. Where available customers are offered the choice of upgrading to a selection of DHL services at the checkout, such as 'Next Day Delivery' or 'Saturday Morning Delivery' and are at an additional cost.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All delivery options are services offered by the various carriers and terms such as '2-3 Days' or 'Next Day' are in relation to the day the carrier receives your parcel, which may not necessarily be the day of placing your order. See below and also see
availabilty above. If you require an item urgently it is important that you email or telephone us to ensure that the product is in stock before placing your order. Failing to do so could lead to disappointment for which we cannot be held responsible.
- When all items are in stock we endeavour to despatch orders over 1kg that are placed before 11:00am and orders up to 1kg that are placed before 15:00 on the same day. Orders placed after this time, in the evening or overnight will be despatched the following day, or next working day if the order is placed on a weekend or bank holiday.
- If an order contain items that are out of stock the order will not be despatched until all items are available.
Order Tracking
- The status of your order can be tracked on this website at any time using the 'TRACK AN ORDER' link from the top menu. Repeat customers are also able to view their order history.
- Depending on the size, weight and method of shipping used, orders may also be tracked after despatch via the courier.
Cancellations
- We want all our customers to be completely satisfied and offer a 'no quibble' cancellation policy.
- Customers may cancel an order for full refund at any time before it has been despatched (small items up to 1kg) or booked for pickup and carriage paid to a courier service (items over 1kg).
Returns
We want you to be satisfied every time you shop with us. Our "no quibbles" guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with the goods purchased you may cancel your order and return the goods to us within 7 working days from receipt of the goods, you will receive a refund within 30 days of cancellation. It is your responsibility to take care of the goods before returning them, and they must be returned in a state where they can be resold. We regret that we cannot accept returns unless they meet the following criteria:
- Items returned to us must be 'as new' in their original undamaged packaging.
- Items must be returned with all extras and accessories that were originally shipped with the item or form part of the item specification.
- Instruction sheets or booklets must be returned unmarked and (where applicable) guarantee cards must be returned unmarked and not completed.
- All items are to be returned at the customer's expense, but customers will not be charged the cost of sending out replacement items.
- We cannot take any action on returns not received. Proof of postage is not proof of delivery. It is therefore recommended that returns be sent by a suitable method which requires a signature on delivery.
Refunds
- We want all our customers to be completely satisfied and offer a 'no quibble' refund policy.
- Refunds for cancellations will be made in full, including any fees paid for carriage, except for late cancellations of items over 1kg where collection by our couriers has already been booked and carriage paid. In this case refund will be the item price only.
- Refunds made for returned items are for the item price only.
Export Policy
- With ever rising transport costs the price of shipping can sometimes exceed the total amount of the order. Overseas customers must contact us to enquire about the cost of shipping before an order can be accepted.
- Deliveries to PO Boxes and BFPO Boxes are no longer accepted by most couriers due to problems caused by the recipient not being the person signing for the parcel.
- We do not supply any materials that are banned or restricted by Customs in any of the major countries, but the customer is responsible for any import duty or taxation that may be applied in the destination country.
