Terms and Conditions


General
All items are offered for sale subject to availability.


Privacy Policy
  • We only store the minimum amount of information needed to ensure the delivery of orders and to be able to contact customers should there be any problems with an order.
  • We do not sell, hire or rent any information to third parties.
  • We do not store, or have access to, any of your financial information. Financial information is exchanged on the secure website of the reputable institution with which you choose to make payment and this information is not shared with us.
  • Customers may be contacted occasionally with details of promotions or special offers, but may opt out of this at any time.


Delivery

Delivery charges are shown at the checkout once the destination of the parcel is known (you have entered your delivery address). Delivery is free to destinations in the UK mainland for all orders over £150.
  • Wherever possible we endeavour to despatch all orders made before 11:00am on the same day. Orders placed after this time, in the evening or overnight will be despatched the following day, or next working day if the order is placed on a weekend or bank holiday.
  • We use DHL for all UK parcels too large or heavy for the normal post. By special arrangement you will be notified via email directly from DHL when they have picked up your parcel from our premises, with a parcel identification number and details on how you can track it while it is in their care. If a delivery to a home address fails during normal hours you can arrange to have it re-delivered at a time to suit you up until 9:00 in the evening.
  • For smaller items that can be sent using the normal postal system we will endeavour to despatch all orders made before 3:00pm on the same day. Orders for smaller items placed after this time, in the evening or overnight will be despatched the following day, or next working day if the order is placed on a weekend or bank holiday. These will arrive via the normal post and so no special arrangements can be made.
  • To keep prices down standard shipping is made by the most cost effective method for the size and weight of the consignment. Where available customers may be offered alternative services for speedier delivery.
  • Where orders are placed in the evening, overnight, at weekends, on bank holidays or otherwise out of normal office hours the date of the order is understood to be the next working day.
Items temporarily out of stock
  • We typically re-order stock items twice a week, so items are never out of stock for long (subject to availability from the manufacturers)
  • As we pride ourselves on customer relations, customers are notified by email should there be any delay due to items being temporarily out of stock or anything else out of the ordinary with their order.
  • If an order contain items that are temporarily out of stock the order will be despatched when all items are available.
What if I am not at home to accept a delivery?
  • For small packets you will be able to collect the item from your local sorting office for up to a week after the attempted delivery. This time period may vary depending on the Royal Mail policy at your local office. We cannot refund the postage on uncollected items that are returned to us.
  • Larger items are sent by DHL and you will be able to arrange a repeat delivery at a time to suit you up until 9:00 on any weekday evening. Alternatively you can pick the parcel up from their local depot yourself.

    NOTE: DHL are very good and extremely helpful when making alternative delivery arrangements, but if you fail to arrange a suitable delivery time or pick up your parcel yourself DHL do charge an additional fee for returning it to us. The cost of carriage in both directions will be reflected in refunds made for uncollected items returned to us.


Order Tracking
  • The status of your order can be tracked on this website at any time using the 'TRACK AN ORDER' link from the top menu. Repeat customers are also able to view their order history.
  • Depending on the size, weight and method of shipping used, orders may also be tracked after despatch via the courier.

Cancellations
  • We want all our customers to be completely satisfied and offer a 'no quibble' cancellation policy.
  • Customers may cancel an order at any time before it has been despatched (small items) or booked for pickup by a courier service (heavy or bulky items).

Returns
  • Items not covered by guarantees covering a longer period must be returned for refund or replacement within seven (7) days of receipt.
  • Faulty Items: In the rare event of an item being faulty it may either be returned to us or (where applicable) sent directly to the manufacturers by following the instructions on the guarantee card.
  • Items returned to us must be 'as new' in their original undamaged packaging.
  • Items must be returned with all extras and accessories that were originally shipped with the item or form part of the item specification.
  • Instruction sheets or booklets must be returned unmarked and (where applicable) guarantee cards must be returned unmarked and not completed.
  • All items are to be returned at the customer's expense, but customers will not be charged the cost of sending out replacement items.
  • We cannot take any action on returns not received. Proof of postage is not proof of delivery. It is therefore recommended that returns be sent by a suitable method which requires a signature on delivery.

Refunds
  • We want all our customers to be completely satisfied and offer a 'no quibble' refund policy.
  • Refunds for cancellations will be made in full, including any fees paid for carriage, except for late cancellations of heavy or bulky items where collection by our couriers has already been booked and carriage paid. In this case refund will be the item price only.
  • Refunds made for returned items are for the item price only.

Export Policy
  • For lower priced items the cost of shipping can sometimes exceed the total amount of the order. Overseas customers must contact us to enquire about the cost of shipping before an order can be accepted.
  • Deliveries to PO Boxes and BFPO Boxes are no longer accepted by most couriers due to problems caused by the recipient not being the person signing for the parcel.
  • We do not supply any materials that are banned or restricted by Customs in any of the major countries, but the customer is responsible for any import duty or taxation that may be applied in the destination country.
